How much does a website actually cost?
$98 a month, with no setup fee. That covers the design,
the build, hosting, your domain, the SSL certificate, backups, and changes whenever you
need them. An agency will quote you $2,000–$3,000 up front for the same site and
then charge again every time you want the phone number changed. We would rather you paid
us a little every month and stayed.
How long does it take?
Four days is our average from approved design to live site. A bigger
build with a store or booking system runs closer to two or three weeks. We give you a real
date up front, and we hit it.
Who owns the domain?
We do. Registering it, renewing it and keeping the DNS pointed at the
right place are part of what you pay for, so there is no renewal to miss and nothing for
you to administer. Your content stays yours — the words, the photographs and your logo
remain your property, and we hand them over whenever you ask.
What if I need changes later?
Send them through the change form,
or just email us, and we make them — usually the same business day. You don't log
into a builder or learn a dashboard. That's rather the point of hiring someone. We do
confirm a request came from you before we touch a live site.
Do you handle hosting and the domain?
Yes. Hosting, SSL certificate, DNS and backups are all handled. Your site
sits on a global CDN, so it loads fast everywhere and stays up.
What if I don't like the design?
Two rounds of revisions are included as standard, and we don't start
building until you're happy with the design. In the rare case it isn't working, you
haven't paid the balance yet.
